Never had a bad experience here. Their espresso martini is so stinking good! Good every single time. The food is tasty and the servers are great. The ambience is also great; there’s always a decent sized crowd but it never feels too loud or cramped. Also, the popcorn is a great touch.
Stopped in for a quick lunch, absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Service was fast and efficient. Great selection of options on the menu. I highly recommend the yogurt and fruit. French fries were amazing! This is definitely a spot i will be coming back to when traveling the DC area.
I sat at the bar and had a “tapas meal...6 grilled oysters, baked Brie, short ribs and their Copperwood Cabernet Sauvignon. Stacey S. was efficient and friendly and all of the starters were nicely plated and very tasty. It was cold outside and the interior was warm and inviting.
This place is amazing. Christian was our server, shout out to him! Correcting that salmon was amazing & appreciative. Love the ambiance. 10/10 be back.
We hosted our wedding welcome drinks at Copperwood Tavern, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The team was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, which made planning a breeze. Even when our guest count nearly doubled, the staff handled everything smoothly and professionally. The service was excellent, and our guests had a great time. Highly recommend for any event!
We wanted to eat near our Pentagon City hotel and found this place. It’s in an area that has many restaurants and it a cute place to walk around. Upon being seated they give you warm mini cornbread muffins and butter to start. We had the French onion soup, Maryland crab soup and a framer salad to start. Our server Marcus said he put my salad in as a half order and I’m glad he did otherwise I wouldn’t be able to eat an entree. The half salad portion was plenty. Our mains were the 7oz filet, pork chop and buttered chicken (it’s cooked in butter, not that Indian butter chicken). All came out hot, tasty and well prepared. We added a seafood fettuccine to share to have some carbs. It was a very good meal and the service was attentive. He was nice with drink refills and making sure we liked our meal.
Great brunch! Our party of three started with juice, coffee and an Elderflower Mimosa; the Biscuit board and a yogurt parfait. We lead into the breakfast sandwich, crabcake Benny and shrimp and Grits for entrees, and absolute nothing disappointed. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and the food was excellent. The outdoor patio is dog friendly, with water dishes at the entrance. We were just visiting for the weekend and we left glad we decided to try it out! Definitely recommend to others.
Had dinner on our weekend trip to DC. Enjoyed the atmosphere. We had the duck and the sea scallops. Both were amazing. For our appetizer we ordered the mussels and the meatballs. Then for desserts the bread pudding and the Apple blueberry crumble. Our drinks were a glass of wine and George peach moonshine. This food was so amazing. For the overall check we were at 168 and some change but for the portion size and the quality of the food. We were not disappointed at all
